Ten-pin bowling is a popular pastime in Dubai. Dubai International Bowling Centre is a state-of-the-art bowling and recreation centre established in May 2001. It operates 36 synthetic Brunswick lanes at par with international standards in a facility which is the biggest and latest of its kind in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. Thunder Bowl is another with a 20-lane bowling centre complete with restaurants, arcade games and a pool and snooker hall. Ten-pin bowling is also available at Al Nasr Leisureland and Magic Planet in the Mall of the Emirates.
