The warm turquoise waters of the Arabian Gulf lapping on to the soft white sand all along Dubai’s coastline are a sun seekers haven and offer a relaxing alternative to exploring the city. Clean, sandy beaches, guaranteed year-round sunshine, and near-perfect conditions for water sports make Dubai an ideal location for beach lovers.
There are many beautiful beaches in Dubai including public and private beaches. The public beaches are free and have very limited facilities. On the other hand, the private beaches which generally belong to a hotel or beach resort offer a host of facilities including water sports, cabanas and shaded areas and barbeque pits among others.
Beaches will continue to be a huge attraction for tourists and residents alike in Dubai. Its current 60 kilometer coastline is being increased to over 1500 kilometers through its various island and waterfront developments!
