The Majilis Gallery is situated in an old Arabic house with windtowers and a courtyard in the old Bastakiya district at Al Fahidi roundabout in Bur Dubai. The gallery hosts a variety of exhibitions by contemporary artists. In addition to the fine art collection, there is an extensive range of handmade glass, pottery, fabrics, and frames. The gallery is worth a visit for its atmospheric surroundings. Operating hours: Saturday – Thursday 09:30 – 13:30 hrs, 16:30 – 20:00, closed on Friday.
